PLAYER PATHWAY
Soccer programs at Upstart Athletics are designed to provide a clear and intentional development pathway for every player. Starting at age 2½, our programs - Feet First, Step Up and F.C. Horizon - are built to grow with each child, offering age-appropriate and skill-matched training every step of the way.
To complement these core programs, we’ve added technical training opportunities like Camps and Skills Training sessions. These are designed to give players the extra edge they need—whether it’s refining their skills, boosting confidence after a tough season, or finding that spark to reach the next level.
Skills Training
Weekly, ongoing training sessions that incorporate skills and athletic training. Options for unlimited monthly session or drop-in available. Recommended as an add-on for our league program. Skills sessions are currently open to players born in 2020 & older.

Wednesdays (6-6:45pm)
Sundays (3:15-4:00pm)
Open to players born 2021-2014
$90/month to attend all available sessions

Camps
4-day camps blend soccer skill-building, fun games, and athletic development. Camps focus on individual technique, teamwork, and confidence-building in a high-energy environment. Great for players of all levels.

Trainers, Ade Harding & Kalissa Claussen
COACH KALI: As Springfield's program director, Kali brings energy, creativity and a deep understanding of youth development to each session. She builds out the lesson plans, organizes the curriculum and runs each session and camp with a focus on individual progress.
COACH ADE: A former English professional player and high-level youth director, Adé brings unparalleled expertise and energy to player development while inspiring young athletes to reach their potential.
Our overall training approach-used in both camps and skills sessions-was developed under the guidance of Coach Ade, Lead Trainer for our Northwest Arkansas location. While Ade is not actively involved in the day-to-day programming in Springfield, his training philosophy helps structure and create a standard for all our training offerings.
