Feet First Soccer is excited to be a part of Kids First Early Learning Academy! We really look forward to seeing your child at each class. The first soccer classes will be September 17th & 18th.
- Wednesdays & Thursdays at 11:00am, 11:30am, 12:00pm
Coaching Staff
Coach Lexi is the Springfield Director and will be the head coach for your child's Feet First Soccer class. She is excited to be partnering with Kids First and looks forward to having your child in class!
Coach Lexi
Lexi is a Missouri State University graduate with a degree in Recreation and Sports Administration and over 10 years of experience working with kids. A lifelong soccer player, she competed at the collegiate level for Missouri Western University before transitioning to coaching and refereeing in both rec and competitive leagues.
Lexi specializes in behavior management and inclusive recreation, with a passion for using sports and play to support child development. She spent the last four years with the Springfield Park Board, partnering with Springfield Public Schools to run after-school care, camps, clubs, and youth sports programs. She holds youth development credentials and is currently pursuing accreditation from the National Alliance for Youth Sports.
Monthly Curriculum
Every month, your child will focus on a new soccer move and character trait while going on many fun adventures. We want your child to be able to take what they learn in school then practice it at home - and we want you to be involved too! Each month we will post the new curriculum summary card below.
Feet First Class FAQs
WHAT IS FEET FIRST CLASS AT SCHOOL?
Feet First Soccer classes are designed to maximize MVPA (moderate to vigorous physical activity) during your child's school day. This helps them perform better in school and is a welcomed break from their normal routines. Our trained coach comes to your child's school and leads a fun & engaging 30-minute soccer class.
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR FEET FIRST CLASS?
Nope! Your coach will come prepared with all of the needed gear for a fun & engaging soccer class. The only request is that your child wear comfortable clothes on Feet First days. No special clothes, shoes or gear is needed.
WHO WILL BE COACHING MY CHILD?

WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE DOING IN FEET FIRST CLASS?
Your child will go on imaginative adventures while learning real soccer skills. Each child will have a soccer ball at their feet for the entire class.
